For funding organizations seeking to understand the needs of their communities when developing new grant programs, modifying existing programs, or responding to changes in the field. Services include assessing the funding landscape, connecting with community partners, conducting surveys and analyzing data.
Deliverables could include a written report and recommendations.

For funding organizations seeking to assess and strengthen their application and decision-making processes. Services include holistic assessment of the application and assessment process, focused on grounding equity in the grantmaking process, connecting with communities and partners, and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and impact.
Deliverables could include internal and external reports and recommendations.

For funding organizations seeking to understand the needs of their communities when developing new grant programs, modifying existing programs, or responding to changes in the field. For funding organizations seeking to understand and communicate the impact of their funding programs. Services include quantitative and qualitative assessment of an existing program, focusing on awardee and staff experiences.
Deliverables could include an impact communication package, recommendations for programmatic changes, and staff capacity-building in data and impact storytelling.

Funder Workshops
Responsive Grantmaking in Critical Moments
In times of change, philanthropic and grantmaking organizations are called on to be responsive and impactful while remaining consistent with their mission and values. In this workshop, Sidra draws on our experience guiding grantmaking organizations through periods of environmental, public health, and financial change in order to articulate key challenges and offer a framework for responsive grantmaking.

In this workshop, Sidra offers an introduction to data-grounded, values-driven program assessment for grantmakers who want to ensure that their funding programs are meeting both their internal goals and the needs of recipients and community members. Topics covered include setting measurable goals, strategies for defining and assessing impact, reducing burden in program assessment, and using evaluation results to tell the story of your work.

& Equity
In this workshop, Sidra will work with participants to identify best practices for equitable grantmaking. Topics covered include strategies for designing and publicizing funding initiatives, building equity into the review process, identifying areas of growth, and responding to changing community needs.
